Eldar Priming, Wraithlords and Fireprisms

Well yesterday I managed to prime the last of my new eldar (except for one autarch hiding under a box), and am now officially ready to start base coating. I'm rather looking forward to finishing off the current batch.

On the army front I've decided to replace the Wraithlords with Fireprisms to see how they perform. It seems that I'm in luck with new fireprism kits coming out. I didn't really like the old kit particularly due to the massive metal bits on top misbalancing it. Who knows, I might start going heavily mech from now on to see how the army performs.

Aside from that I've decided to use 2 Wraithlord with Missile Launcher/Bright lance combo untill I get the new prisms. I'm worried about wraithsight, but I'm willing to give them a go to see what they perform like. In the past they have always done well and with T8 even missile launchers only wound 50 percent of the time. However this time round I don't have a seer to babysit them.

On the army building side I'm strongly inclined to run 3 Wraithlords just for the lulz, although I'm fairly sure it's a bad idea. On the other hand perhaps T8 will be enough to save the day. We shall see.

On the tank busting side I'm considering the awesomness of 10 Firedragons. Pretty much garunteed to blow anything to kingdom-come and capable of taking on things like hive Tyrants and Mawlocs. In the mean while I'm going to work some more on my mech elements and see where that leads.

Small update today - but I'll be posting more thoughts on strategy once I've played again.
